How The Year Works.
Spring
Seed & Set
Seed plots go in first — bluegrass, fescue, ryegrass — followed by cotton, peanut, and the botanical beds. Sap lines are drawn down and cleaned for the off-season.
Summer
Cut & Cultivate
First and second hay cuttings, cane and beet growth cycles, hop training, and the daily weed war every specialty crop demands.
Autumn
Harvest & Grade
Tobacco priming, cotton pull, seed-crop harvest and cleaning, mint distillation runs — the season the register fills up.
Winter
Plan & Repair
Rotation planning, soil sampling, equipment rebuild, and contracting for next year's buyers. The field rests; the ledger doesn't.

B-Down Exotics farms from Red Hawk Lane in Hearne — Robertson County ground between the Brazos bottom and the post oak belt, with the soil diversity specialty cropping needs.
We sell by contract and by the lot: graded seed, baled forage, botanical raw material, and field-reduced maple syrup. Buyers get traceability to the plot, not just the pallet.
